田军,女,语言学博士,副教授,现任加拿大维多利亚大学太平洋亚洲学系中文部负责人,研究生导师,受聘于西南大学365游戏大厅客座教授。并担任加拿大中文教学学会副会长及会议主席。
研究方向:应用语言学,二语习得,课堂外语教学,写作教学,跨文化交际,汉语语言学等。

Dr. Jun Tian is Associate Teaching Professor at the Department of Pacific and Asian Studies of the University of Victoria in Canada. She is the Chinese language coordinator of the department and supervises graduate students. In addition to teaching Chinese language courses at all levels, she teaches Chinese Linguistics and Applied Linguistics courses at the senior level. She is Vice President of Canada Teaching Chinese-as-a-Second Language Association. Since 2017, Dr. Tian, as the conference chair, has organized the annual Canadian Conference of Teaching Chinese-as-a-Second Language, which welcomes presenters from all over the world and attendees of Chinese educators at the university and K-12 levels.
Her research interests are in the areas of applied linguistics, second language acquisition, classroom-based research, second language writing, cross-cultural communication, teaching Chinese-as-a-second language, teaching English-as-a-second language, and Chinese linguistics.
She has presented dozens of papers at international conferences such as ICCLTR, AAAL, CALA, ALRF, ACTFL, TESOL, CTCSLA, and NACCL. She has also published several articles in leading journals and book chapters published by well-known publishers.
